Steps to Join Our Troop

Step 1 COME AND see.

Read the new member welcome letter and join us at at a meeting.

Step 2 Fill the Forms.

Fill out your information for each child on these forms. For By-laws document, we only need last page. Bring in at first meeting.

Throughout the year, middle school and high school trailman will be challenged by adventures that are considered “long duration, high altitude, or heavy exertion.” For these high adventures, a physical must be obtain. Please refer to this form to be filled out by a physician.

Step 3 Serve others.

One of the primary roles to help your Trailman succeed is through volunteering. Bring the above information (step 2) and additional adult documents to your first meeting. To protect our environment, all our adult leaders are safety trained both through Trail Life USA and the Diocese of Colorado Springs. Please talk to one of our troop leaders so that we can send you an email to “Initiate Leader Registration.” Corpus Christi’s safe environment coordinator is also indicated below.

Step 4 Join IN.

Please review the information below so that your child can complete his Joining Award. All new membership dues includes a Trailman uniform and handbook. Just as sacraments are outward signs of inward grace, for Trailmen, the uniform is a visible symbol of the adventure, character, and leadership instilled within Trail Life USA. Formal uniform (shown below) are worn at all troop meetings, ceremonies, service events, and other dress occasions. Please refer to sizing chart below.

Step 5 Connect with us.

Troop 26:26 will communicate through the Trail Life Connect website. Here you will find the troop calendar and all mass communication. Sign up for all adventures through this link. Look for an invite and complete the Trailman and parent information.

Trail Life Connect website is where you will find all the advancement awards your family has achieved or are working towards. Learn about adult training, health and safety documents and the numerous advancement electives here. Look for an invitation and complete your family’s personal information. Follow prompts indicated by pressing “Forgot your password?”
